Every user who submits an event through your calendar becomes an event creator in the system. As a calendar admin, you can look up any event creator to view their contact details, see their event history, and impersonate their account to troubleshoot or take actions on their behalf. All of this is done through the Event Creators section of your partner dashboard, which lives under the Sales CRM menu.
Note: The Sales CRM includes sales-oriented features (lead claiming, package creation, etc.) that may not be relevant to your role. This article focuses specifically on the event creator lookup and management tools that are useful for day-to-day calendar administration.
Accessing the Event Creators List
From your partner dashboard, look for Sales CRM in the left-hand navigation menu and click Event Creators. This opens the full list of users who have submitted events to your calendar(s).
From here you can:
- Search and filter for a specific event creator
- Click into a creator's profile to view their details
- Export the full list as a CSV
Searching for an Event Creator
The Event Creators page provides several ways to narrow your search:
- Search Field — A dropdown that lets you choose what to search by: Email, Event Creator Name, Event Title, Venue Name, or Linked Domain.
- Search Term — The text you want to match against the selected search field.
- Home Site — Filter by the calendar site the user is associated with.
- Status — Filter by the user's current status.
- Owner — Filter by which salesperson or team member "owns" the user. Set this to Account to search across all users regardless of ownership.
Enter your criteria and click Search to view matching results. Use Clear Filters to reset.
Tip: If you can't find a user by name, try searching by their email address — it's the most reliable identifier in the system.
Finding an Event Creator from the Events List
If you don't know the user's name or email, you can find them through one of their events. Go to your Events list on the dashboard, locate one of their events, and click the event creator icon next to the event listing. This takes you directly to that user's profile.
Viewing an Event Creator's Profile
Clicking into an event creator opens their contact record, which includes:
- Name — The user's display name
- Email — Their registered email address
- Telephone Number — If provided
- Home Site — The calendar site that "owns" this user
- Last Login — When they last accessed the system
- Created At — When their account was first created
The profile also has tabs for Events, Contacts, and Packages. The Events tab shows every event the user has submitted, including the event title, category, venue, dates, approval status, and broadcast status.
Impersonating an Event Creator
The Impersonate button on a user's profile lets you view the platform exactly as that user sees it. This is useful when:
- A user contacts you with a problem and you need to see what they see
- You need to edit or manage an event on a user's behalf
- You want to verify that a user's account is set up correctly
Click Impersonate to enter the user's session. When you're finished, exit impersonation to return to your admin dashboard.
Note: Any changes you make while impersonating a user will take effect on their account. Use this feature carefully.
Adding a New Event Creator
Most event creators are created automatically when someone submits their first event through your calendar. However, you can also create a user account before they've posted an event:
- From your dashboard, click the Create Customer button (also available as + Add Event Creator from the Event Creators page).
- Enter the new user's email address and any other required information.
- The system sends the user an email inviting them to set a password and log in.
You can also share your calendar's Submission URL with potential event creators. When they use that link to submit their first event, an account is automatically created for them under your calendar.
Exporting Your Event Creators List
To download a complete list of all event creators associated with your calendar, navigate to the Event Creators page and click the Export as CSV button. This generates a spreadsheet containing user details like email, phone number, sign-up date, last login, and event counts.
