The Get Code section in your site admin provides the embed codes and links you need to install your calendar on your website. It also includes a preview option so you can see your calendar with your current settings before adding it to your site.
How to Access Get Code
Log in, select your site from the dashboard, and click Get Code in the site admin menu.
Available Embed Options
Calendar Embed
The main calendar embed code adds your full events calendar to a page on your website. Copy the code snippet and paste it into the HTML of your calendar page. This is the primary embed that most partners install first.
Content Widget
A compact "mini calendar" that displays a selection of featured events. Use this on other pages of your site — such as a homepage sidebar or footer — to drive traffic to your main calendar page.
Submission Button
An embeddable button that links directly to your event submission form. Place it on pages where you want to encourage event organizers to submit their events.
Submission URL
A direct link to your event submission form. Use this in navigation menus, email newsletters, social media, and anywhere you want to share a clickable link rather than an embedded button. See Submission URL for more on how to share this effectively.
Previewing Your Calendar
Before installing the embed code on your website, use the preview option in Get Code to see how your calendar looks with your current theme, catchment, and category settings. This lets you verify your configuration without needing to publish anything on your live site.
Tip: If something looks off in the preview, adjust your Theme or Site Settings first, then return to Get Code to confirm the changes.
Installing the Embed Code
Each code snippet is a block of HTML that you paste into your website's page source. The exact process depends on your content management system:
- WordPress — use a Custom HTML block or widget to paste the code
- Other CMS platforms — paste into an HTML or embed block on the target page
- Static HTML sites — paste directly into the page source where you want the calendar to appear

Running multiple sites?
Before reusing this embed code on more than one site, see Can I Have the Same Calendar on Multiple Brand Sites? — Connected Calendars are usually a better fit than reusing one calendar's code.
