Ability to approve events in moderation (July 18, 2022)
Any event in moderation will have an option to "Publish Now" on your calendar. This allows your editors control of what events should bypass the moderation delay. The submitted events will go to your moderation queue. From the "Manage" button there will be an option to "Publish Now". After you do, the event will show that it should be published in a few seconds and will remove itself from the moderation queue. More info here: How to Moderate Events.
Batch Upload Events via CSV (July 26, 2022)
Our system now allows admins/editors to upload events in bulk via CSV. Event data must be formatted to match the template (attached at the bottom of this article). When uploaded, we will attempt to post all new events to your calendar. Any events that do not match your location settings will be posted to our system, though they will not be able to be posted on your calendar. More info here: Batch Upload Events via CSV
Claim and Edit backfill events (July 26, 2022)
We have added a "Claim and Edit" option for backfill events so editors can "Claim" these events to make them native to your calendar. Simply click "Manage" on an event you need to edit and you will see either "Edit" (if it is already editable) or "Claim and Edit" (if it is a backfill item). From there, you can edit any information in the event, add new info, change the image, etc, and that new info in the event will be posted to your calendar as an event that you own. More info here: Claim and Edit
Single Event Embed Widget
We have added an embed widget available for any event on your calendar. This is available in the Editor CMS from the events list. The "</>" icon will show a preview of the widget (left side of image below) and the code to embed it into any page or blog post. There is an option to use the map of the event location or the main image for the event.
