This month we have released the first phase of improvements aimed at improving the speed at which the calendars load on calendar sites throughout the entire system. Most of the improvement can be observed with no action on the side of our calendar sites and was the result of revising how images are handled under the hood.
There is the opportunity to see additional performance improvements if site administrators are able to update one line of calendar code on their page.

One major aspect of our recent improvements is an alternate location for our discovery plugin. Changing this one line in the calendar code on your pages (calendars and content widgets) should lead to a marked increase in the load speed for all visitors to your calendar.
You can grab the new calendar code in the "Get Code" at app.evvnt.com in the Editor CMS for your calendars.
Your calendar script begins with an 'async deter src=' item. The text in quotes for this item is what needs to be changed. You will essentially just be replacing this
//production-evvnt-plugin-herokuapp-com.global.ssl.fastly.net/evvnt_discovery_plugin_s.js
with this
//discovery.evvnt.com/prd/evvnt_discovery_plugin-latest.min.js
Once that plugin URL is replaced with the new address your site visitors will experience faster load times on your site.
