Can the required fields be changed?

The required fields for the event submissions help ensure that our events data is of high quality. This allows us to minimize gaps in what we can offer to our international network of event sites. For this reason, we find it is important to maintain these required fields in as many cases as possible.

If you would prefer your audience to not be required to provide and image and/or a URL for their event submission, we can turn that off by request from this page here. Simply click "Submit a Request" above and request the removal of these either or both of these requirements. Please indicate in your request the calendar URL for your site.
