Editors can manage events by clicking the 'Manage' button next to an individual event.
Once an event has been picked to manage, there are a few options to choose between.
#1: Any event can be manually Featured. Events that purchase syndication (self-serve or direct sales) will automatically be featured and show on the event calendar's carousel on the home page. When an event is manually featured it does not require payment.
#2: When Editor's Pick is selected the event will be labeled as "Editor's Pick" if you are using our reverse publishing to print service.
#3: When Editor's Voice is selected you will be able to write content about the event and show the community that you are endorsing the event as an editor of your publication. The event will be labeled as "Editor's Voice" if you are using our reverse publishing to print service, the event picture will display in print and the content you write about the event will display as well.
#4: The Prefer for print selection will add this event to the backfill data for reverse publishing to print. The event receives no special labeling on the event calendar home page.
#5: The Reject button allows you to reject an event from your calendar for any reason you would like. The event can easily be restored as well.
*#6: When you Clone an event you are able to repost an event in under 60 seconds. The most common use for the clone tool is for an event that occurs more than once but on different dates. You can choose which parts of the event to edit and submit the event as new event!
*#7: The Edit tool allows you to edit an event at any time. This could be an edit to the date, description, pic, etc. There are no restrictions to what you can edit.
*Remember, you can only Edit or Clone an event if it is submitted by a user of your calendar or by you the editor. Events from Ticketmaster, Eventbrite and Goldstar cannot be edited or cloned.
