Here you can use your editor authorization to turn normal events in to editors picks, the ones chosen by you are interesting and you can also add your own editorial voice to the event. These features activate tags, content and messaging on the calendar and also work with our print and voice services.
Step one: Login to your Editor's Back Office.
Step two: Choose the calendar you'd like to edit and click "Manage Events".
Step three: This will take you to your calendar page where all your calendar events live.
Step four: Choose your publication's events by ticking the box on the lefthand side of the page. You may also see options for Eventbrite, Ticketmaster. Choose your publication because those are the events you can edit.
Step five: From here, you'll see only the events that users have submitted through your site. All of these events can be edited.
Step six: Click "manage" to the right of the event.
From this page, you can edit the event.
Editor's Pick
Step one: To create an Editor's Pick, click "Editor's Pick" under Manage This Event.
Step two: Here you have the option to *Star* the event on your calendar page.
Step three: If you choose to make this event an Editor's Pick, it will have a star by the event on your calendar.
Editor's Voice
Step one: If you'd like to create an Editor's Voice, click "Add Editor's Voice.
Step two: This gives you the option of creating a headline for the event and adding your own content about the event.
Step three: Once you are happy with the headline and content you've written, press "save" and it will be added to the event details page, above the summary.
Removing Editor's Pick or Editor's Voice
Step one: To Remove Editor's Pick, go back into "manage" the event and click "Remove Editor's Pick".
Step two: It will ask if you are sure you want to remove the Editor's Pick. Click "Yes, stop this event being an editor's pick".
Step three: Once you click this, it is no longer an editor's pick and will be updated immediately on your calendar.
Step four: To Remove/Edit Editor's Voice, go back into "manage" the event and click "Editor's Voice".
Step five: Delete/edit the headline and content you provided. Then click "Save". This will automatically be updated on your calendar.
