The secret sauce? A rich blend of backfill and locally sourced events driving traffic to your calendar from search engines, creating a bustling hub where event creators and seekers converge, powered by Evvnt’s suite of online marketing services. With your calendar powered by Evvnt, you help create a more vibrant and connected community!
At any step of the process, our Partner Success team is here to help. Head to our Partner Help Center for answers or submit a request here.
Once you are signed up for an Evvnt calendar account, you or any admin user can login and add sites. Simply follow the prompts from the “Add Site” button. Once created, it will be sent to us for review so we can activate the site. Before we can activate it, you need to post the code to a publicly accessible URL.
Your calendar theme colors will be automatically pulled from the logo provided. You can also fine tune your theme. See here: Edit site theme
You can set a moderation delay for all new events. We recommend leaving that off so users get instant gratification when posting event. This avoids additional support requests. We have filters that block inappropriate events. See here: Moderate Events
The publishing area for each calendar determines what events will be accepted on the calendar. You can add multiple circles (recommended no more than 10, minimum size is 1 km). See here: Publishing Area
Select which backfill sources should be enabled. These are different event sites that can feed your calendar, though leaving them all on may lead to some duplicate entries being pushed to your calendar. More info here: Backfill Data Sources
Submission forms will feed more events. Share the submission links in your site navigation, in existing newsletters related to events, and in a QR code in print on an existing events page. See here: Submission URL
You can invite users by adding customers from any site you own. They will get an email welcoming them. You can submit events to your own calendar. However, we recommend doing so as an event creator as opposed to submitting events as an editor or admin user. You can create an event creator user for you or your staff from any site you own. See here: Submitting events to your own calendar
Online events can be sent to a print page using our reverse publishing to print features. More info here: Automated Event Print Pages. Automated newsletters coming soon!
Success comes from backfill and local events bringing in traffic from search. As more people are finding events through your calendar, more event creators will be posting events to your calendar to purchase online marketing services via Evvnt.
